Info file for the LMSS Pack. As this is a development release, there is only one script (but several aliases) included. -Scripts- dopple - Swaps two specified files. Can be useful for testing different configuration files for an app. Usage: dopple gimme - Little more than an alias, gimme will fetch a specified package from your normal apt mirror without asking any questions. Usage: gimme apt-clean - This script will check for unneeded .debs left over from apt, clean them off the system, as well as apt-build sources if apt-build is installed. Optionally it can also remove orphaned packages through deborphan. -Aliases- mkx - Changes permissions of a file to make it executable Usage: mkx ungz - Tells shell to extract a tar.gz or .tgz file Usage: ungz unbz - Tells shell to extract a .tar.bz2 or .tbz file Usage: unbz ll - Lists detailed directory contents in color in easily read format Usage: ll home - Brings user back to home directory Usage: home dir - Lists detailed directory contents in color in easily read format Usage: dir copy - For MS converts. Usage: copy md - For MS converts. Creates a specified directory. Usage: md del - For MS converts. Deletes specified file. Usage: del ipconfig - For MS converts. Lists network information. ipconfig is merely an alias for "ifconfig". See ifconfig's manual for usage information. recon - For Debian users. Requires root priviledges. Instructs dpkg to reconfigure specified package. Usage: recon ripogg - Requires abcde encoding software. Will fetch CDDB data for CD in drive, rip CD to ogg format, and name files according to CDDB data. ripmp3 - Requires abcde encoding software. Will fetch CDDB data for CD in drive, rip CD to mp3 format, and name files according to CDDB data.
